Secrets To Meaningful Prayer has given me a new outlook on the way I go about my daily life, pray and even read the Bible. I've learned that one of the most important things God wants from us is a relationship via prayer. It's been a challenge, but John's book has helped me start developing that relationship through communication with God. Although it's sometimes frustrating trying to understand the Bible, hear God and apply it to my daily routine, Secrets To Meaningful Prayer gives me many practical examples of how to and why we should read His word, pray and develop a relationship with Him. John's personal experiences and examples help me to understand and apply his method of praying. I highly recommend anyone, of any level of faith, to read the book and see a completely different approach to a more personal relationship with God. Thanks John!

I cannot recommend this book highly enough!!! The principles God has given John to share should be taught to every believer! We used it as a small group discussion for teens at our church, and it has revolutionized their prayer life. Prayer is a simple, yet powerful weapon, and it is one we take too lightly. John brings us back to understanding prayer and how to be effective in our communication with God, even when He may not answer like we want. The hardest part of reading this book is putting it down long enough to apply the principles it teaches!!!!

IT is an easy read, designed for one chapter a week for twelve weeks so you can practice what you learn in each chapter so that God is no longer a Santa Claus in the sky nor a Vending Machiine in our imaginations but a loving, all powerful Heavenly Father who not only knows what is BEST for us at each minute we are making choices but also will guide us in tangible ways if we seek His will and learn how to listen.
